In an article published by the Guardian we find out about a Danish Chef based in Copenhagen who is due to open a paleo takeaway restaurant soon.
His name is Thomas Rode Anderson, and he has been following the paleo diet since 2005. He is so passionate about the paleo diet he decided to open a takeaway restaurant. He wants others to benefit from the Paleo Diet.
On the menu will be plenty of paleo recipes. For example, his take on a pizza is called a meatzza were the base instead of being made up of bread dough will be made from ground beef.
Some of the items on the menu sound very clever for example, the hot dogs are wheat-free sausages placed in an egg-based wrapping to replace the usual bread roll.
There is even a risotto on the menu that has celeriac (celery root) cut into the rice-sized grains, as a replacement for the risotto rice. I would love to know how this is done.
The desserts are sugar-free, he uses ripe pears to provide the sweetness in these desserts..
This is not the first Paleo resturant in Europe as Sauvage Berlin was opened last year.

I’m sure that the next time I am in Copenhagen I will try to find this place I really want to eat a piece of meatzza.
