We’re just a group of long-time low-carbers who wanted to create an online community where folks can come to find support, ask questions, and learn more about all things ketogenic. Between us, we’ve got over half a century of keto experience under our belts!

How we started with keto and keto lifestyle

This whole journey first started back in the late 90s for one founding member, who was looking for a sustainable way to improve their health and lose some weight. After digging into the research on low-carb approaches, going keto was a no-brainer. The pounds started melting off, but, more importantly, they felt more energetic than ever before.

Word of these success spread among our little circle, and one by one we all decided to give keto a try ourselves. Turns out it’s kind of addicting seeing those kind of results! Before we knew it we were spending our evenings discussing macros, finding new recipes to share, and basically being “those keto people”.

Over the years we’ve evolved our diets, tailored things to fit our lifestyle changes, and learned more about gut health, fasting, exercise and advancing the science behind nutritional ketosis. Now we want to share everything we’ve discovered to help others optimize their wellbeing.

While none of us hold any official credentials or degrees, we view our hands-on experience and ongoing self-education as one of our strengths. We’re just regular folks who try to let science and our bodies guide the way.
